A Living and Learning Environment

We take pride in our faculty, a group of caring, nurturing, involved adults, recognized for their experience, commitment and enthusiasm. Teachers at Westminster possess a broad range of interests, a versatility and richness of background, and professional preparation that make them a unique group of educators.

The Westminster community spirit grows from and thrives on multiple points of contact between students and faculty members. In their roles as teacher, coach, corridor supervisor and advisor, for example, members of our faculty work with students in every facet of boarding school life. We seek applications from both new and experienced teachers who demonstrate a passion for their subject area, an enthusiasm for working with young people, and the energy to fully commit to a living and learning environment.

Spirit of Support

As reflected in our mission and core values, people, more than programs and buildings, remain at the heart of this special school. Faculty at Westminster continue to accept the simple virtue of "just being around and available for students." In this spirit, faculty readily volunteer to help each other and to support students.

Faculty perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities while at Westminster School. In this context, faculty are expected to uphold the highest standards of professional behavior and judgment.

Equal Employment Opportunity

Westminster School reaffirms its long-standing nondiscriminatory policy and employs individuals of any race, religion, sexual orientation or national origin, granting to its employees all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available at Westminster School. Westminster School does not discriminate in its hiring, educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, or athletic and other school-administered programs.
